Every year, around 15,000 children in Vietnam are born with congenital heart defects, according to the Ministry of Health. These structural abnormalities can threaten a child’s life at any moment without timely surgery.
Yet for thousands of low-income families, the cost of a heart surgery remains out of reach. That’s why the “Healing Little Hearts” campaign was launched – a ray of hope that aims to give three children the life-saving heart surgeries they urgently need.
Thanks to the support of local health insurance for children and contributions from local authorities, each child only needs 36,500,000 VND – just one-third of the average cost of a heart surgery (109,500,000 VND). With a total fundraising goal of 109,500,000 VND, this campaign strives to gift three young hearts a healthy beat and a brighter childhood.
💗 Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise is deeply grateful for the support of MoMo Super App and BU Telco in helping share this mission with the wider community and connect it with kind-hearted donors.
