Using personal information according to the nature of our work for

Donation transactions: When you use or visit our website to make a donation, we collect information about the transaction as well as other information related to the transaction such as name, postal address, phone number, email address, payment information, donation amount, and names of any honoree(s) or person(s) to whom donations are made in memory. We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information. Many donors use credit cards to donate. VCF SE protects the security of credit card transactions using a number of measures such as encryption, access control, network firewalls and physical security. We also require the companies we work with to process your online donation payments using industry standards. These measures make it difficult for anyone to obtain the credit card information you submit to us.

Additionally, depending on the platform you are using to donate, VCF SE may use PayPal and other third-party service providers to complete the donation process. To the extent any donations are processed through third-party service providers such as (but not limited to) PayPal and Facebook, donor information is used only to complete the donation transaction. All beneficiaries of VCF, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, or support program, have the right to equal and fair privacy protection from us. When utilizing information about children under 18 years old, the consent of a guardian or parent is required.

All images and posts on VCF’s social media platforms are our property. Any reproduction or use of this content and imagery must receive permission from VCF SE.
