Continuing its mission to support communities recovering from the aftermath of Typhoon Yagi, Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise (VCF SE), in partnership with Vinamilk, has delivered 8,000 boxes of nutritious milk to children at underprivileged preschools in Cao Bang Province, including Vinh Phong, Pac Mieu Town, Nam Cao, Mong An, and Duc Hanh kindergartens.

At these small schools nestled along the hillsides, the children happily enjoyed the delicious taste of milk. According to the National Institute of Nutrition (2023), the stunting rate among children in Cao Bang’s mountainous districts remains high, ranging from 23% to 28% – significantly above the national average, and poses serious threats to both the physical and cognitive development of these children.

Milk is a vital source of nutrients during early childhood, especially for children living in remote mountainous areas where economic conditions are still limited. In such settings, each box of milk represents much more than nutrition — it is a seed of health and vitality. Every sip helps energize children to learn, grow, and play. Understanding this, VCF SE and Vinamilk have joined hands to provide these meaningful gifts, aiming not only to nourish bodies but also to uplift spirits, encourage school attendance, and support physical development through consistent access to proper nutrition.

Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise believe that lasting change for children starts with meeting their most fundamental needs. VCF SE grateful for Vinamilk’s partnership,  their tangible acts of compassion are helping spark lasting human values.

Together, VCF SE look forward to extending this journey of nourishment, helping children in the highlands of Cao Bang grow up healthier and dream bigger amidst the mountains and forests.
