On July 19, 2025, for the first time, producer, director, and actress Ngo Thanh Van officially introduced herself to the public in an entirely new role: a practicing visual artist.
The painting collection “INITIATION” was created by her during pregnancy — a sacred and deeply challenging period, both physically and emotionally, in her journey into motherhood.
The injections, the pain, the sleepless nights… all became vivid material for each artwork, capturing love, maternal instinct, and the resilience of a woman stepping into motherhood in her 40s.
With the empathy of a mother and a heart that has accompanied the community for over a decade, Ngo Thanh Van donated 100% of the proceeds from her art sales to the Scar of Life program, supporting surgery costs for underprivileged children with congenital heart defects.
Today, “INITIATION” has officially come to a close, bringing healing magic to 20 little hearts.
