Recently in Da Nang, a congenital heart defect screening site was filled with warmth and optimism. Through the close collaboration between the Da Nang Department of Health and dedicated doctors from Hoan My Da Nang Hospital, many children were able to receive free cardiovascular check-ups, helping detect congenital heart defects at an early stage.

The atmosphere at the screening site was lively and heartwarming, marked by children’s laughter and their bright, curious eyes as they waited for their turn. Each medical check was more than a routine examination — it represented a vital opportunity to identify heart conditions early and to give children and their families greater peace of mind about the future.

This activity was part of an ongoing congenital heart defect screening program aimed at bringing quality healthcare services to children in remote and underserved communities. The program was jointly implemented by Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise in collaboration with Mr. Huy Tran, Founder of ChanChan Noodles.

Through these screenings, children showing signs of congenital heart defects are provided with medical consultation, follow-up guidance, and referrals to appropriate treatment pathways, ensuring timely intervention and better long-term health outcomes.

Each outreach trip is a journey of compassion – one that carries the shared hope of delivering healthy heartbeats, so that every child has the chance to grow up strong, learn, play, and pursue their dreams without being limited by heart disease.
