🩵 Hearts Returning
““Hearts Returning” is a fundraising campaign raised to support the areas that are affected greatly by the previous typhoons. Having read the news regarding the recent flood, I was reminded of a famous proverb of the Vietnamese: “Lá lành đùm lá rách.” Translated to English, this quote means, “The strong leaves protect the torn leaves.” This is a saying that highlights compassion, solidarity, and the importance of helping those in need. Inspired by this, “Hearts Running” is a campaign built on empathy and patriotism among the Vietnamese people. Therefore, we hope to join hands with everyone to raise funds and support those in need!
As a Vietnamese, despite studying far from home, I feel heartbroken when following the news about the recent natural disasters. Nha Trang, one of the affected cities, used to be a place that took up a large portion of my childhood. So after seeing it submerged in the waters, I can’t help but desire to send support to the affected regions.
The “Hearts Returning” campaign wants to deliver a message: no matter how far you go, your heart will always be turned towards your homeland. Therefore, “Hearts Returning” wishes to join everyone and help the impacted areas quickly recover and return back to their peaceful life.
