The Congenital Heart Defects Screening program initiated by Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise continued its journey to bring heart screenings to children in need.
From November 21 to 23, 2025, the program brought medical professionals, equipment, and a shared commitment to reaching children born with congenital heart defects in remote areas.
Over three days of free screening at Ninh Binh Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, Nam Dinh Children’s Hospital, and Ha Nam General Hospital, the program listened to the heartbeats of 1,750 children, detected 60 cases of congenital heart defects, and identified 51 children who required surgical intervention.
