As the year draws to a close and everyone eagerly prepares for the Lunar New Year, there are children still fighting every second against congenital heart disease. For those children, each passing day is a battle for survival.

The social enterprise Vietnam Children’s Fund and the Super App MoMo have launched the “Piggy Bank” and “Momo Heart” campaigns, calling on the community to come together to help these children receive life-saving surgeries, offering them a warm and healthy Tet. The Piggy Bank Momo campaign aims to raise 730,000,000 VND, equivalent to 3,650,000 Gold Pigs, to cover the cost of congenital heart surgeries for 20 disadvantaged children. The Momo Heart campaign is raising 182,500,000 VND from generous donors to quickly secure enough funds to support surgeries for 5 more underprivileged children. These figures aren’t just numbers—they represent miracles that bring hope and new life to these children.

Congenital heart disease is one of the most common birth defects in infants and children, and it leads the list of causes of death in children due to birth defects. Every year, approximately 15,000 children in Vietnam are born with congenital heart disease. For poor families, especially those in remote areas, the cost of surgery—reaching hundreds of millions of VND—becomes an unbearable burden. But now, thanks to the community’s collective efforts through the “Donate Gold Pigs” campaign on MoMo, we can change it. With just 36,500,000 VND in donations, which accounts for one-third of the total cost of a surgery, you can help heal a little heart. A small gesture of kindness from you can create miracles for these children.

Join MoMo and Vietnam Children’s Fund in turning these miracles into reality, bringing healthy hearts, bright smiles, and a brighter future to 5 children. By donating Gold Pigs through the MoMo app, every small act of kindness from you could save a life and give these children a meaningful and complete Lunar New Year.
