Da Nang, June 5, 2025 – Vietnam Airlines, in collaboration with SpaceSpeakers Group, Meliá Danang Beach Resort, the Association for the Support of Disadvantaged Women and Children of Da Nang City, and the Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise, proudly organized the fourth edition of the “Dream Trip 2025 – Wings of Hope”, an initiative designed to offer 80 underprivileged children in Da Nang an inspiring journey of joy, learning, and empowerment.
First launched in 2023, Dream Trip is a heartfelt corporate social responsibility initiative by Vietnam Airlines that has brought dreams to life for hundreds of disadvantaged children across Vietnam. From Vung Tau to Nha Trang and now Da Nang, each destination has been carefully curated to offer educational enrichment, cultural exploration, and meaningful connection – leaving each child with a lasting sense of hope and human values.
The 2025 edition is especially significant as it coincides with Vietnam Airlines’ 30th anniversary – a meaningful milestone that not only marks three decades of pioneering progress in aviation, but also reaffirms the airline’s unwavering dedication to community impact and social responsibility.
Held over two days (June 3–4) at Meliá Danang Beach Resort, the program provided the children with a rich, immersive experience combining discovery, creative play, and interaction with nature and culture.

They were also introduced to the fascinating world of aviation through engaging activities hosted by Vietnam Airlines, such as airplane drawing, flight attendant roleplay, and paper airplane folding contests.
A special highlight of the program was a songwriting workshop led by SpaceSpeakers Group, where children explored themes such as family, dreams, and everyday life through music. Accompanied by artists APJ, Kriss Ngo, and Monotape, the children co-created heartfelt lyrics, unlocking their imagination and voice in a deeply emotional and artistic space.
The first day concluded with a lively Gala Night, filled with joy and dazzling lights. The children confidently performed on stage, their eyes sparkling with happiness as they received meaningful gifts – music scholarships, backpacks, milk, and school supplies – small yet powerful tokens of love from the community.

Mr. Dang Anh Tuan, Deputy CEO of Vietnam Airlines, shared: “Each child carries within them their own dreams. We believe that a compassionate and inspiring journey can be the first gateway to a brighter future. Through this initiative, Vietnam Airlines reaffirms its identity as a national carrier with a mission far beyond the skies – to spread hope, nurture aspirations, and inspire the next generation.”
Mr. Ignacio Martin, Managing Director of Asia Pacific at Meliá Hotels International, stated: “Every child deserves the chance to dream. Seeing the radiant smiles and sparkling eyes of these children fills us with hope that we have planted the first seeds of possibility. This journey is not just about connecting skies, but connecting hearts and dreams.”
Mr. Dang Le Huy, Deputy CEO of SpaceSpeakers Group, remarked: “For us, music is more than entertainment – it’s a bridge of emotion and a tool for empowerment. The melodies crafted by the children today may well be the first notes of a lifelong journey toward their dreams.”

The 2025 Dream Trip stands as a compelling testament to the power of responsible business collaboration. More than just tangible support for vulnerable children, the initiative represents a shared commitment to compassion, solidarity, and an unwavering belief in the potential of the next generation. Each experience, each song, each moment of joy has the power to become a beautiful memory, a source of strength, and a spark that helps these children rise above their circumstances.
