Giot Lanh and the Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise officially signed a memorandum of understanding, marking a significant step in the journey to bring healthy hearts to Vietnamese children on February 19. Accordingly, Giot Lanh will sponsor more than 1 billion VND to support congenital heart surgery costs for 30 underprivileged children in 2025 through the Scar of Life program of the Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise.

Congenital heart defects are one of the most common birth defects, affecting thousands of Vietnamese children each year. The burden of medicine and surgery costs becomes a major barrier for many families, especially those in difficult circumstances. Understanding this, Giot Lanh joined the Scar of Life program of Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise, joining forces to bring healthy heartbeats and a brighter future to disadvantaged children. When children are healthy, parents can feel secure to work, improve their lives, and contribute to poverty reduction nationwide.

“Giot Lanh always strives for sustainable and loving values, not only in each product but also in the way we contribute to the community. Through the budget from the Uom Mam Foundation – a fund initiated by Giot Lanh, we are honored to join hands with the Scar of Life program of the Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise, contributing to bringing a new life to children with congenital heart defects,” a representative of Giot Lanh shared.

“We deeply appreciate the trust and generosity of Giot Lanh. This precious sponsorship will help the Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise realize our mission of bringing a better life and a brighter future to underprivileged children. We believe that the companionship of Giot Lành will be a great source of encouragement, bringing smiles and happiness to children with congenital heart defects and their families,” said Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – CEO of the Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise.
