Every year, thousands of premature babies in Vietnam face a much higher risk of death than full-term infants. In remote and underserved areas, a lack of essential neonatal equipment and limited newborn resuscitation skills make the fight for their survival even more challenging.

With the goal of saving newborn lives and reducing neonatal mortality, the Neonatal Care program by Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise works with donors to provide essential neonatal equipment and emergency neonatal resuscitation training for doctors and nurses at hospitals in rural and remote regions.

Thanks to the support of the community, many premature babies and infants with neonatal complications have received timely care, proper treatment, and a chance to grow up healthy. On World Prematurity Day, let’s come together to raise awareness and support better neonatal care for babies in hard-to-reach communities.
