On the journey of healing children with heart defects, Scar of Life would like to extend our deepest appreciation for the unwavering love and support from generous donors. The concerted efforts of the community are a vital source of strength that not only empower children in their fight against heart defects but also nurture the happiness of families whose children have been given a second chance to live wholeheartedly.
Recently, Scar of Life had the honor of joining Ms. Lan Luu, a dedicated donor who has partnered with us for over a decade, to visit children with brave little hearts currently receiving treatment at the University Medical Center in HCMC.
We have had a chance to see the great spirits of little warriors with our own eyes. There are Huy, a 6-month-old baby who has already undergone 5 surgeries, and Chi Thien, a resilient boy determined to overcome all challenges and return home to his parents as soon as possible. This perseverance has significantly inspired and motivated Scar of Life to carry on our mission of providing children with life-saving opportunities.
