Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise Co., Ltd. has donated 12 essential neonatal care devices to the Da Bac Regional Medical Center, Phu Tho Province on July 11, 2025. The donation, valued at 200,000,000 VND, was successfully fundraised by Vietnam Children’s Fund Neonatal Care program via the MoMo Super App.
The Da Bac Regional Medical Center, one of the 74 poorest districts in Vietnam, faces critical challenges in neonatal care. In 2023 alone, the center handled more than 1,600 deliveries and over 1,200 pediatric cases. These numbers typically surge during rainy and transitional seasons, placing additional strain on an already under-resourced facility grappling with outdated or insufficient medical equipment.
In response to these challenges, the Neonatal Care program called on the MoMo user community to help equip the center with essential medical devices and to support specialized training sessions for local doctors and nurses. The initiative aims to strengthen emergency response capabilities and improve care for newborns, especially premature infants, at the district level.
The project funded 12 medical devices, including: 01 infant warmer, 01 CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) machine, 01 suction machine, 02 intubation sets, 01 infusion pump, 01 pulse oximeter, 02 ambu bag, 03 nebulizers. These devices are expected to have a standard service life of five years and will help provide timely care and treatment to at least 900 children per year in supported areas.
