In response to the aftermath of the Yagi disaster, on March 8 and 9, 2025, the Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise collaborated with the Cao Bang Department of Health, Bao Lam District People’s Committee, and Bao Lam District Medical Center, to launch a mobile medical program in the communes of Duc Hanh and Nam Cao.

Over the two days, the medical team provided health check-ups for a total of 183 children and 529 adults, with 210 cases receiving in-depth screenings. The program also distributed free medication and donated 246 sets of children’s clothing and 449 sets of adult clothing in Duc Hanh.

Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise also focused on upgrading the Nam Quang Commune Health Center to improve healthcare services for nearly 5,000 ethnic minority residents. The renovations included geological exploration, stone embankment restoration, sinkhole repair, and drainage system rehabilitation.

In addition, Vinh Quang Primary School is being renovated to ensure the safety of children attending school after severe landslides. The foundation reinforcement and landslide prevention measures are being urgently carried out to protect the school.
