The Scar of Life program carries the mission of healing little hearts and empowering children with the right to dream again. Each surgery tells a moving story of a child’s extraordinary resilience, the boundless sacrifices of their parents, and the compassion of a caring community.
Continuing the journey of protecting those fragile heartbeats and dreams, on June 27, 2025, Ms. Primmy Truong and her family joined the Scar of Life program by Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise to visit four children who had recently undergone successful heart surgeries at City Children’s Hospital. The heartfelt gifts, filled with love from the community, not only gave the children renewed strength and hope – bringing them closer to their simple dreams, but also helped ease the burden of hospital fees and daily life for their families.
Scar of Life Program and Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise sincerely thank Ms. Primmy Truong and her family for joining hands in nurturing the dreams of children born with congenital heart defects. In the time to come, many more children will have the chance to undergo life-saving heart surgeries, and this journey of love and healing will continue to reach more hearts in need.
