In Vietnam, childhood cancer remains a significant challenge for both the healthcare system and families. Each year, approximately 3,000 children under the age of 19 are diagnosed with cancer. However, only about 30% of them are cured, compared to over 80% in developed countries.
For families in difficult circumstances, the cost of treatment, ranging from tens to hundreds of millions of Vietnam dong annual, creates an overwhelming financial burden, leaving many children unable to complete their treatment.
This September, Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise, in collaboration with MoMo, has called a fundraising campaign to support six young patients at Children’s Hospital 2. The funds raised will help cover treatment expenses, giving these children greater access to effective therapies and a brighter chance of recovery.
