At just 23 weeks in the womb, Bao Anh’s family learned that she had been diagnosed with congenital heart defect. During her early years, she struggled with recurring pneumonia, fevers, and her parents’ constant worries.
There were times when her weak heart kept her sick for months on end, and the hospital became her second home. With limited means, the burden of medical bills and hospital stays nearly exhausted her parents.
But thanks to the support of Scar Of Life, generous donors, and partners, Bao Anh was finally able to undergo heart surgery. Her tiny heart has since made a miraculous recovery. May each strong heartbeat now bring her hope and strength as she continues her journey growing up.
