The Scar of Life program, under the Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise, together with sponsor Giot Lanh, visited five children with congenital heart defects who recently underwent successful surgeries at the University Medical Center in Ho Chi Minh City. These children come from especially disadvantaged backgrounds, but thanks to this valuable support, they now have the chance to receive life-saving treatment and return to a brighter, normal life.

With the companionship of Giot Lanh, these once fragile hearts have been revived, bringing hope to the children and their families, who once had to face the heavy burden of both illness and life’s challenges. Every healthy heartbeat, every returned smile, stands as a testament to the humanitarian value that Giot Lanh’s support has provided.

For the families, these surgeries not only offered a chance for their children to live but also gave them hope to continue dreaming of a brighter future. The children have bravely overcome their surgeries, and now, every healthy heartbeat is a sign of a new life, filled with the desire to continue learning, playing, and enjoying life like their peers.

The support from Giot Lanh has opened doors of hope, bringing joy and confidence to families in difficult circumstances. In the time to come, more children with congenital heart defects will have the chance to undergo surgery, and this journey of spreading love will continue to touch many more hearts.
