“We wish you all a full recovery, so you can go to the beach and enjoy the summer.”
Those were the heartfelt wishes shared by mothers with their children during a Dance/Movement Therapy session held at City Children’s Hospital on May 20.

As a gentle welcome to summer, the session invited children on an imaginative journey to the seaside through familiar Dance/Movement Therapy activities. Breathing exercises with sensory balls, movement with colorful parachutes, music, and hands-on exploration of materials reminiscent of ocean waves and sandy shores helped bring the spirit of summer to life.

Through these multi-sensory experiences combining movement, sound, and touch, the children were given space to recognize and express their emotions in their own way. Each movement and interaction encouraged curiosity, joy, and playful dreams of summer, while nurturing hope for healthier days ahead.

Sincere thanks to MM Mega Market Vietnam, as well as professional partners Ms. Bui Tuyet Minh, Registered Dance/Movement Therapist, and Vietnam Dance/Movement Therapy (VDMT), for joining Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise’s KARE program to bring this meaningful experience to children battling cancer and their families.
