On June 10, 2026, continuing its commitment to creating sustainable social impact, Vietnam Airlines, in collaboration with SpaceSpeakers Group, Meliá Hotels International, and Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise, launched “Dream Trip 2026.” This year’s program, themed “Touching the Dream of Flight,” takes place on June 9–10, 2026, offering 100 disadvantaged children in Hanoi a meaningful opportunity to learn, explore, and nurture hopes for a brighter future.

First introduced in 2023, Dream Trip is a long-standing corporate social responsibility initiative by Vietnam Airlines. Over four successful editions in Vung Tau, Nha Trang, and Da Nang, the program has helped hundreds of children experience memorable and inspiring journeys. Now in its fifth year, the program takes participants on a journey that starts in Hanoi and ends in Hai Phong, combining education, recreation, and team-building to ensure that every step of the journey becomes a cherished memory.

Sharing his thoughts on the initiative, Dang Anh Tuan, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Airlines, said: “Every child carries their own dreams. We believe that a meaningful journey filled with care and encouragement can open the first door to a brighter future. Through this program, Vietnam Airlines continues to uphold its role as the National Airline – not only pursuing its mission of connecting destinations, but also fostering aspirations, and igniting hope in the hearts of the younger generation.”

On the first day, the children participated in a series of educational and career-oriented activities. The group paid a respectful visit to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, watched historical documentaries, and explored Uncle Ho’s Stilt house and Fish pond area, capturing memorable photos along the way. A highlight of the day was an immersive visit to the aircraft maintenance hangar of Vietnam Airlines Engineering Company (VAECO) and the Vietnam Airlines Cabin Crew. Here, the children gained firsthand insight into the aviation industry, interacted with engineers and flight attendants, and learned about the dedication and teamwork required behind every safe flight. The experience aimed to spark curiosity, inspire learning, and broaden their career aspirations.

The excitement continued with “Dreamy Melodies,” a music session featuring volunteer artists, followed by a warm and celebratory Gala Dinner marking the fifth anniversary of Dream Trip. During the evening, the children participated in the “Sky of Dreams” handprint ceremony, creating a collective artwork with 100 handprints symbolizing their hopes and aspirations. The celebration also included a group birthday party, where the children received educational gifts to support their learning. On the second day, participants strengthened their teamwork and problem-solving skills through “Flying with Teammates,” a team-building program featuring creative challenges such as passing the “dream ball,” constructing a giant paper airplane, and solving aviation-themed puzzles. The journey concluded with the presentation of “Touching the Dream of Flight” certificates to all participants.

Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise sincerely thanks Vietnam Airlines, SpaceSpeakers Group, Meliá Hotels International, and all partners for joining hands to create a meaningful summer for these children, nurturing their dreams, aspirations, and belief in a brighter future.
