On August 2, 2026, Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise officially opened the first store of the Preloved to Beloved program at 15 Nguyen Duy Hieu Street, Ho Chi Minh City, marking a new milestone in promoting a sustainable fashion model with a social purpose. The store offers a carefully curated selection of pre-loved premium fashion items. Every purchase helps provide warm clothing for disadvantaged children living in remote and mountainous areas of Vietnam.

Every year, thousands of children in Vietnam’s mountainous and border provinces endure harsh winters without adequate warm clothing. The cold increases the risk of respiratory illnesses and affects their ability to attend school. Meanwhile, millions of fashion items that are still in good condition remain forgotten in wardrobes or are discarded.

In response to this sad reality, Preloved to Beloved was created to bridge these two seemingly contrasting needs. Once-loved fashion items are given a second life after being donated, carefully selected, and quality checked before reaching new owners. All profits from the store are used to purchase warm clothing for children living in cold-weather regions across Vietnam.

After more than a year of operating through online sales channels, Preloved to Beloved has provided 1,105 items of warm clothing, including coats, socks, and warm hats, as well as 237 blankets, to disadvantaged children in Lao Cai and Dien Bien provinces. The opening of the first physical store is expected to expand the program’s fundraising efforts, helping even more children in Vietnam’s highlands stay warm each winter. Ultimately, we hope to have Preloved to Beloved stores in all major cities.

Through this model, Preloved to Beloved also aims to promote sustainable living, encourage responsible consumption, and reduce fashion waste. Every item sold not only extends the life of a garment but also helps reduce environmental impact while creating meaningful support for the community.
