Minh Dang’s family moved from Hanoi to Dong Nai, carrying with them the joy of welcoming a healthy baby boy. However, at just one year old, Minh Dang was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect called ventricular septal defect. The family continued regular follow-up visits, but the pressures of making ends meet eventually forced his parents to send him back to Hanoi to live with his grandparents. As he continued to appear cheerful and healthy, follow-ups were gradually overlooked.

In 2025, when Minh Dang returned to Dong Nai to begin primary school, his health suddenly worsened. His condition required urgent surgery costing VND 130 million. For a family renting a small room for VND 1.2 million per month and earning a living with a small snack cart, the amount was far beyond reach.

When hope seemed to fade, a door opened through the hospital’s connection with the Scar Of Life program. Through the program, Minh Dang received timely support from Trang Beauty Center, enabling him to be admitted to the hospital and move forward with his surgery.

Scar Of Life sincerely thanks Trang Beauty Center for their meaningful donation. Hopefully, with a healthy heart, Minh Dang will make a strong recovery and confidently step into his first year of school.
