For newborn babies, every minute after birth is critical. Yet in border communities such as Dong Thanh Commune, Tay Ninh Province, limited access to specialized neonatal equipment and the long distance to higher-level hospitals continue to challenge the timely care of newborns.

To help improve neonatal care at the local level, the family of the late Mrs. Huynh Ngoc Anh partnered with the Neonatal Care program of Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise to donate seven essential medical devices to Duc Hue Regional Medical Center. The donation included 1 electrocardiogram (ECG) machine, 1 monitor, 1 Doppler ultrasound device, 1 nebulizer, 2 suction machines, 1 double-sided neonatal phototherapy unit.

These devices are vital for neonatal resuscitation and newborn care, enabling healthcare professionals to improve patient monitoring, diagnosis, and early intervention while enhancing the quality of treatment and reducing the need for referrals in many cases.

As part of the initiative, Minh Ha Foods, and other generous donors also provided 200 gift packages containing fish sauce and other daily necessities to disadvantaged patients in the medical center.

This collective effort by the family of the late Mrs. Huynh Ngoc Anh, Minh Ha Foods, and other generous donors demonstrates a shared commitment to supporting border communities and helping families overcome challenges and build more stable lives.
